A few lucky WhatsApp beta testers got a pleasant surprise this week when the app revealed that it is developing an iPad-optimized version of its iOS software in preparation for introducing a WhatsApp-like app for iPad users.
The upgraded iPad app is now included in WhatsApp’s TestFlight app for all iPad users, version 23.19.1.71, as originally reported by WABetaInfo.
According to leaked images, the messaging network, owned by Meta is still developing the app, but it may be published shortly.
iPhone fans have long hoped for a WhatsApp app only for the iPad users. And their prayers may have finally been heeded.

According to beta images that WABetaInfo has access to, the app looks to be taking advantage of the iPad’s greater screen area, The Sun said. It will operate like the desktop mode and serve as an additional app for your main smartphone account.
As a result, connecting a device will require scanning a QR code.
You can use WhatsApp on your iPad independently, even if your phone is not connected to the internet. Fortunately, your iPad and any phone, including iPhones and Android phones, can sync texts. The move was taken following the recent launch of a Mac-compatible app by, WhatsApp.
Professionals are still testing the beta version of the software. Whether or when the app will be made accessible to a larger audience has not been announced by WhatsApp.
The most recent update suggests that an iPad version is surely coming. So be on the lookout for any future modifications. Moreover, here is another update of the iPhone 15 Hits Shelves.
