Chinese Deputy PM Celebrate 10th CPEC Anniversary in Pakistan

Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Lifeng is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on July 30th for a three-day official visit to celebrate the 10th CPEC anniversary.

According to Express Tribune, Deputy Premier Lifeng will be escorted by a high-level delegation to an important event in Islamabad on July 31st, alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and federal cabinet members.

The ceremony is being organized by the Ministry of Planning and Special Initiatives, which manages CPEC projects and has invited all major political parties and their leaders.

Lifeng is set to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his entourage during his visit. The meetings are likely to result in the signing of multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at increasing bilateral cooperation in various areas.

The discussions will include an assessment of bilateral ties, current collaboration, and CPEC development.

There are also preparations for both countries’ military commanders to meet with Lifeng, focusing on defense and military cooperation between China and Pakistan.
