Disneyland will Host First-Ever Pride Nite in June

Disneyland is set to host its first-ever official Pride Nite on June 13 and June 15, 2023, at Disneyland Park in California. This specially-ticketed after-hours event will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and allies during Pride Month.

Tickets for Pride Nite cost $139 for guests aged 3 and up and must be purchased in advance on Disneyland’s website. Parking fees are not included in the ticket price.

Are you eager to join the first Pride Nite of Disneyland? Let’s remove the curtain to see the details of this event.

Pride Nite guests can enter the park as early as 6 p.m., with the event officially beginning at 9 p.m. after the park closes to guests with standard admission. The event will run until 1 a.m. Reported by USA Today.

Disneyland is offering exclusive experiences such as a Pride Cavalcade (parade) featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends in new outfits, an Ohana Dance Party with Stitch in Tomorrowland, a separate dance party along the Rivers of America, country line dancing in the Golden Horseshoe, and unique photo opportunities with unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. Special dining and merchandise options will also be available for Pride Nite guests.

In addition to the exclusive offerings, Pride Nite guests will receive a commemorative credential and guide map and may have access to popular attractions with likely shorter wait times compared to regular park hours. See more events, Katty Perry will perform at Charles’s coronation.

Disneyland Pride Nite

It’s important to note that Pride Nite is an official Disneyland event and is not part of Gay Days Anaheim, which is organized by a third-party organization and involves participation from both Disneyland guests and cast members.

Ticket sales for Pride Nite will begin with a limited presale for Magic Key holders on April 18, 2023, and tickets for the general public will go on sale on April 20, 2023, at 9 a.m. PT/noon ET. It’s worth mentioning that tickets are nonrefundable and must be purchased in advance on Disneyland’s website.

Disneyland’s Pride Nite comes when Disney has faced criticism for its inclusivity and opposition to Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law, which restricts speech on sexual orientation and gender identity in public school classrooms.

However, Disney has been actively supporting the LGBTQ+ community through various initiatives, including its annual collection of Pride merchandise and the introduction of Pride events in other Disney parks, such as Disneyland Paris Pride, in 2019.

Overall, Disneyland’s Pride Nite promises to be a unique and inclusive event celebrating diversity and promoting inclusivity in the Disney community.
