Pakistan’s visually-impaired squad showcased their mettle, amassing a commendable total of 187 runs while losing eight wickets during their allotted 20 overs.

The leadership tandem of Captain Nisar Ali and Badar Munir also made significant contributions, amassing 46 runs off 33 balls and 37 runs off 24 deliveries, respectively.
In response, the Indian team exhibited their resolve but were contained to 169 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their designated 20 overs. The match saw a tense moment where India required 38 runs from the last three overs, only for Matiullah from the Pakistan squad to bowl a masterful 18th over, conceding a mere four runs.
India took a turn for the worse, losing three wickets, including a run-out, as they collapsed from a promising 150 runs for three wickets to a less favorable 154 runs for six wickets.
Noteworthy performances from India VI’s Sunil Ramesh, who notched up a commendable 62 runs, and Durga Rao Tompaki, who added 40 runs to his tally, added a touch of resilience to India’s innings.
Pakistan VI’s Matiullah demonstrated his prowess with the ball, securing two crucial wickets, while the pressure of the game led to five Indian batters being run out. Looking ahead, Pakistan is slated to face Bangladesh in their forthcoming match, scheduled for Tuesday.
